Millions of Americans are fighting cancer, others have battled the disease and won, others have lost a valiant fight and millions more have watched their loved ones face this awful disease. Just last year, my young, marathon-running, health nut friend Susan lost her life to colon cancer just months after getting married -- she was 25. This year, another friend (also a runner) was diagnosed with skin cancer. So, as he fights the disease inside his body, on the outside he's waging a battle against cancer by running. He'll race in the Chicago Marathon as part of the American Cancer Society's DetermiNation Team (click on the link to check out his page). All the money he raises will go directly to ACS -- every single penny. His goal is $5000, and I want to help him reach it.
